Fazlun Fazlee serves as DT Global UK’s Senior Technical Director and manages operations in Africa and the Caribbean region. He is an Engineering and Management Consultant involved in infrastructure development work in developing countries, particularly in the technical areas of public sector reform, change management, institutional strengthening, and capacity building in public sector agencies. He has also led in performance and financial management, project planning and programme management in the transport, infrastructure, and financial sectors. Fazlun is a qualified Civil Engineer and has experience in various projects ranging from, structural assessments of rail bridges in Wales to Technical Assistance and Capacity Building Programmes in Infrastructure sector in Africa.

Fazlun has been heavily involved in business development initiatives such as preparations of pre-qualifications and tender documents including commercial bids, bid management, marketing, and implementation. This includes taking on the role of Project Director for various clients, including government organisations and International Financing Institutions. During his career he has worked in Bangladesh, Barbados, Botswana, Dominica, Ethiopia, the Gambia, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Malawi, Netherland Antilles, Nepal, Nigeria, Rwanda, Swaziland, South Africa, Saint Lucia, Tanzania, Uganda, UK, Zambia, and Zimbabwe. Fazlun was also chosen as one of the 12 apprentices to President of the Institution of Civil Engineers in 2009 and was involved in producing the “President’s Apprentices Toolkit”—an Engineering Project Delivery Toolkit for the United Nations’ Millennium Development Goals.
