
Sloan Mann serves as Chief Executive Officer of DT Global providing overall leadership for the organization’s strategic direction, resourcing, and global operations. Working with our Managing Directors, Sloan sets enterprise-wide priorities, fosters a culture of accountability and purpose, and strongly believes in a people-centered approach to achieving results and impact.
Previously, Sloan led the transformation of DT Global’s US business into a large, multisectoral development partner integrating multiple businesses through major mergers and acquisitions. Prior to this, Sloan co-founded Development Transformations in 2009, a business focused on defense, development, and diplomacy delivering high quality projects in the world’s most complex operating environments.
Sloan founded Development Transformations after numerous long-term field assignments with USAID in Iraq, Sudan, and Afghanistan. A West Point graduate, Sloan served five years in the Army during which he conducted peacekeeping missions in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo. He later went on to graduate with distinction from Georgetown University’s Master of Science in Foreign Service Program. He has been a term member of the Council on Foreign Relations and worked as an adjunct professor at Georgetown teaching graduate level course work on war-to-peace transitions.
