À propos

Chris is the Practice Lead for DT Global UK’s Environment and Infrastructure programmes. In this role, he ensures the strategic growth of the sector and maintains the quality of programme activities through active technical support and quality assurance oversight.

Chris has over 15 years’ experience working on a range of projects in the environment and infrastructure sector across Africa, Europe, and South and Southeast Asia, including more than seven years working with DT Global and its legacy company IMC Worldwide. His recent experience has focused on leading teams to support local authorities and government agencies with policy and legislative development, strategic planning and project preparation, and sustainable infrastructure development. He has a particular interest in the digitalization of the international development sector, and the use of technology to support local development in an equitable and inclusive manner. Chris has predominantly worked on FCDO-funded projects, but also has recent experience working with the World Bank, Millenium Challenge Corporation, Asian Development Bank, European Investment Bank, and various UN agencies.

Before working in international development, Chris worked as a civil engineer and humanitarian responder, primarily working on first phase response in conflict settings in Somalia, South Sudan, Ivory Coast, and Kyrgyzstan, as well as on the Syria refugee crisis. Chris is a chartered engineer with the Institution of Civil Engineers (CEng MICE) and holds a master’s degree from the University of Bath.

Quel est votre endroit préféré parmi tous les endroits où vous avez voyagé ?

Old Bagan in Myanmar, a UNESCO World Heritage site with stunning architecture spanning several centuries. Trekking to see the gorillas in Rwanda 20 years ago also holds a special place in my heart.

Quelle est votre activité préférée le week-end ?

Spending as much time as possible outside embracing the Swedish seasons with my daughters.
