In response to Sudan's conflict, our USAID/OTI STEP-UP program supports local groups in addressing urgent humanitarian challenges like displacement and disease outbreaks. Here, youth prepare land for displaced people in the Kordofan region.
DT Global is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Support Which Implements Fast Transitions (SWIFT) 6 – Programs Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract. SWIFT 6 programs will be the primary mechanism through which USAID/Office of Transition Initiatives (OTI) implements programming for the next ten years. Under this US$5 billion IDIQ, OTI will support U.S. foreign policy objectives by helping local partners advance peace and stability in fragile environments through a fast, flexible, and adaptable model that addresses key political transition and stabilization needs.
This award builds on DT Global’s long history of supporting OTI. As an OTI Implementer since SWIFT II, DT Global has worked with OTI over the last twenty years across 16 different countries and currently holds five active SWIFT 5 Task Orders (Iraq, Sri Lanka, Sudan, and two regional mechanisms in the Middle East and North Africa, and Southern and Eastern Africa). Through these programs, DT Global has supported activities that promote transitional justice, reconciliation, social cohesion, youth development, and provide political and stabilization assessments.
“DT Global is excited to continue to support USAID/OTI. Their model of development matches DT Global’s commitment to doing development differently and we stand ready to advance the OTI mission in complex political crises around the world,” said Sloan Mann, DT Global US President.
