Ilan Cooper is Managing Director for DT Global US, based in Washington, D.C. and overseeing strategic growth, operations, and projects. Ilan has worked with DT Global and legacy companies for more than 15 years and brings his deep institutional knowledge and track record in programs, operations, and business development to lead the US business.
Prior to this role, Ilan served as Vice President for US Business Development, Acting Director for UK Business Development, and lead of DT Global’s Global Growth Team. His work delivered year on year growth of the US portfolio and greater coordination across the global Business Development teams. Prior to this role, Ilan managed DT Global’s OTI portfolio and previously oversaw legacy Development Transformations programmatic and BD portfolios managing USG and UK funded conflict programming across Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Mali, Yemen, and Syria.
Prior to joining DT Global, Ilan worked as a Political Risk Editor for Oxford Analytica. He has several publications on transitional justice, conflict, and security and has Master’s degrees, with distinction, from the University of Chicago and Georgetown and a BA, with honors, from King’s College London.
