The Australian Government, through the PNG-Australia Transport Sector Support Program, Phase 3 (TSSP3) implemented by DT Global, is supporting the Government of Papua New Guinea (GoPNG) to achieve a more effective, efficient, and inclusive transport system, enabling the economic and social development of PNG.
TSSP3 is now conducting an evaluation of the Sustainable Highlands Highway Investment Program (SHHIP), which was co-funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Government of Australia (through DFAT) and GoPNG. The objective of this Road Condition and Safety Assessment is to assess the project's impact and achievements. This will enable TSSP to thoroughly explore these impacts and use this evaluation as a framework for future assessments.
This road condition and safety assessment (Lot 1) is one part of the overall evaluation. There will be a separate tender to evaluate the socio-economic and environmental performance of the project (Lot 2). Both tenders are advertised at the same time, and bidders are free to submit proposals for either one or both Lots.
Au nom du gouvernement australien, TSSP3 is calling for proposals from suitably qualified and experienced consulting firms to undertake the SHHIP Road Condition and Safety Assessment (Lot 1). This tender is open to companies that meet the criteria detailed in the tender documentation.
La date limite de soumission des offres est 2:00 pm (Port Moresby time) on Thursday 29 May 2025. TSSP3 will not accept submissions received after the deadline.
