Gianmattia Lobina is the Regional Global Growth Director for Ukraine, Central and Eastern Europe. Based in Ukraine, Gianmattia is leading DT Global’s expansion efforts, fostering strategic partnerships and leveraging the organization’s expertise to support post-conflict recovery and sustainable development in the region. Most recently, since 2016, Gianmattia has served as Director of the Business Development Division for DT Global Europe in Madrid.
After graduating in Italy, Gianmattia relocated to Spain, where he began his career as a consultant in international development. With over 15 years of experience in managerial roles, he has worked with several major donors, including the EU, World Bank, and Asian Development Bank. Over the years, he has managed numerous projects in Asia, Africa, and Europe.
Gianmattia holds three master’s degrees, all related to development, with a particular emphasis on African contemporary history, multilateral economic relations, and the function of multilateral organizations.
