DT Global is the managing contractor of the Tonga Australia Support Platform (TASP) an Australian Government investment providing a range of support services to DFAT and Technical Advisers deployed to work in Tonga.
Scope of Services
The Tonga Australia Support Platform (TASP), implemented by DT Global on behalf of the Australian Government, invites submissions from qualified researchers for the Research on the Economic Cost of Violence Against Women in Tonga.
The winning tender will work with three local Agencies as part of this research assignment. It is expected that these agencies will support this project by each providing a focal point as their key agency contact. The agencies will review key deliverables providing input and feedback as required, supporting the winning tenderer to arrange interviews and providing relevant data as appropriate. The agencies are Ministry of Finance (MOF), Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) and Women and Children’s Crisis Centre (WCCC).

The primary objective of this research is to quantify the economic costs to the economy of violence against women in Tonga, using a methodology consistent with comparable Pacific regional studies to enable cross-country analysis and benchmarking.
