Neil Durnan is Country Manager for Indonesia at DT Global Asia Pacific, overseeing the Indonesia office and a portfolio of eight Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade projects spanning economic development, decentralization, governance, and health. He also leads the corporate team responsible for contractual compliance, human resources, finance, and operations. Neil brings more than 18 years of experience managing international development programs across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Eastern Europe, with a focus on stabilization, transition, and democratic governance.
Previously, Neil served as DT Global’s Senior Director of Operations and Senior Director of Program Effectiveness, helping develop and refine program management systems from start-up through close-out. His experience includes remote program management, business development, and delivery for US and UK government agencies. At Chemonics International, he held leadership roles on Syria programs, managing assistance to the Syria Civil Defense, known as the White Helmets, and directing the Jordan Food Assistance Program, which supplied flour to bakeries in southern Syria. Earlier, he supported the National Democratic Institute’s work in Egypt and Lebanon, including managing operations across three Egyptian offices.
