The Australian Government, through the PNG-Australia Transport Sector Support Program, Phase 3 (TSSP3) implemented by DT Global, is supporting the Government of Papua New Guinea (GoPNG) to achieve a more effective, efficient, and inclusive transport system, enabling the economic and social development of PNG.

TSSP3 is now conducting an evaluation of the Sustainable Highlands Highway Investment Program (SHHIP), which was co-funded by the Asian Development Bank (ADB), Government of Australia (through DFAT) and GoPNG. The objective of this Socioeconomic and Environmental Assessment is to assess the project's socio-economic impact and achievements as outlined in the Design and Monitoring Framework (DMF) of the Project.

This socio-economic and environmental assessment (Lot 2) is one part of the overall evaluation. There will be a separate tender to evaluate the road condition and safety performance of the project (Lot 1). Both tenders are advertised at the same time, and bidders are free to submit proposals for either one or both Lots.

En nombre del Gobierno australiano, TSSP3 is calling for proposals from suitably qualified and experienced consulting firms to undertake the SHHIP Socioeconomic and Environmental Assessment (Lot 2). This tender is open to companies that meet the criteria detailed in the tender documentation.
