With a youthful and fast-growing population, Vietnam is one of the most dynamic economies in Southeast Asia. However, the country faces significant challenges, including a complex governance structure, economic disparities, and centralised controls over the economy, media, and civil society. These challenges can limit opportunities for inclusive and transparent growth.
DT Global supports the EU to reinforce successful implementation of ongoing and future EU-Vietnam cooperation activities. Aligned with the EU’s Multi-annual Indicative Plan (MIP) 2021–2027, which defines priorities in Vietnam and supports the EU’s Indo-Pacific and Global Gateway Strategy, this contract is focused on clean, smart, and secure connectivity across sectors.
In collaboration with EU and Vietnamese stakeholders, DT Global contributes to the Team Europe Initiatives on climate-resilient, faible-carbon growth, and inclusive entrepreneurship, furthering the EU’s commitment to sustainable development and good governance.
EU-Vietnam cooperation strategies focus on three main priorities: (1) Green and digital transition; (2) Decent and inclusive jobs; and (3) Good governance and rule of law.
