What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
“Control the controllables”. Back when I was rowing for Australia, this simple advice always stuck with me. If I could do something about it, I'd go for it. But if it was out of my hands, worrying just made things worse. Putting your energy into what you can control feels way better and gets you further than stressing over things you can't change.
What’s your favorite place of all the places you’ve travelled?
The Maasai Mara National Reserve in Africa, a remarkable area of natural beauty and ecological significance, closely associated with the rich cultural heritage of the Maasai people. During a week-long visit, I was fortunate to experience the great migration from the Serengeti and the diverse environments found in this region of Africa.
