Aarohi Vashishtha heads DT Global in Indonesia. As the Country Manager, Aarohi oversees DT Global's corporate strategy and operations in Indonesia.
Prior to this role, Aarohi was Head of the Asia Pacific Strategic Engagement and Partnerships team in Australia. In that role he successfully diversified DT Global's portfolio and revenue in the Asia Pacific region, forging impactful collaborations with clients and partners from academia, public, and private sectors.
Aarohi has more than 15 years of experience in international development and retail banking. Before DT Global, he worked for an international development consulting firm in the United Kingdom with a focus on fragile and conflict affected areas. In this role, he supported frontier research programs and systems strengthening efforts in Uganda, South Sudan, Bangladesh, and India. He also worked in the financial inclusion space in India. He has a fervent commitment to fostering inclusive teams and communities and is dedicated to spearheading innovative solutions that drive positive social and economic impact.
What’s your favorite thing to do on weekends?
I am captivated by strength training, and on weekends, you will often find me lifting free weights at the local gym. If not, I will be catching a flight or train to explore our diverse and beautiful world. Cooking a spicy curry, as well as spending time with my groodle are also my favorite weekend activities.
If you were doing something else besides this, what would it be?
Architect – iconic landmarks, historical buildings, and the ability to balance aesthetics and functionality is something that has always intrigued me.
