She has strong commercial skills and has negotiated both small- and large-scale contracts with major clients and Consortium partners. She has strong contractual skills and has overseen the contracting of many small-scale grantees across the developing world with different insurance, duty of care, and safeguarding needs. What’s the coolest thing about your job?
Working with the most amazing team of people. I get to work with the most brilliant people from engineers to monitoring and evaluation experts to innovation leaders. They are all bound together with a common desire to do good in the world and I am often humbled by their hard work, dedication, and brilliance.
What’s the one piece of advice you would give others about life?
My children groan when I say this! But it is “Put the face mask on yourself first” this comes from the safety talks on flights but can be translated to all aspects of life. If you are not well, mentally or physically, it is hard for you to help others. So, if you want to help others you need to look after yourself too.
