A huge congratulations to Jennifer Adema our Director of Policy for the Economic and Social Infrastructure Program (ESIP) in Papua New Guinea and DT Global Emerging Leader, who has recently been awarded a scholarship to attend the 2nd cohort of the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) US Pacific Institute for Rising Leaders Fellowship.
Jennifer will join other high-achieving, mid-career leaders from the public, private and non-profit sectors from around the Pacific to attend a fully funded, three-week-long scholarship based in Washington D.C in the United States, to learn more about leadership approaches and hear from development experts on international issues such as climate, development, public health, and maritime topics.
"I applied as part of my continuous learning and development and to contribute meaningfully to the discussions of development, security and service delivery," said Jennifer.
"This is a huge achievement for my family, and my career in international development. Professionally, I’m thankful to DT Global for their support and encouragement in furthering my career development. It is also a privilege to be representing Papua New Guinea and sharing our unique experience through the fellowship."
"I am most excited about the prospect of visiting the White House and learning from experts in the policy and political space and just being part of this prestigious fellowship."
"I would like to connect with like-minded professionals, expand my network, gain valuable insights from experts and be able to collaborate on shared challenges through local solutions that are sustainable," she said.
DT Global is proud to support the ongoing professional development of our local leaders and wishes Jennifer ongoing success in her leadership journey.
