Jaime is the Unit Coordinator for Multilateral Framework Contracts at DT Global, bringing over five years of experience in development cooperation, with expertise spanning both business development and project implementation. His career path reflects a deep passion for international development and cooperation, with a strong focus on the institutions, policies, and projects that shape the EU as an ecosystem. Jaime graduated from the European School of Brussels, pursued European Studies at university, and complemented his education with an MBA in International Management. He began his career at the Spanish Government’s Economic and Commercial Office in Brussels, where he worked within the Department of Multilateral Institutions. There, he supported private sector companies in securing multilateral contracts, gaining valuable insight into the private sector's role in advancing impactful international development initiatives and inspiring his transition into consultancy and development cooperation.

In his current role, Jaime brings extensive expertise in project cycle management across multiple donors, including EU DGs, EIB, CEB, AFD, and GIZ. He specializes in identifying and preparing multimillion-euro tenders across a broad range of economic development topics, leveraging his skills in budget preparation, team coordination, and stakeholder engagement. His international background has made him a reliable and effective leader in managing multicultural teams of internal and external technical and administrative experts, fostering strategic partnerships with public and private sector stakeholders, and maintaining strong relationships with high-level decision-makers. These capabilities have enabled him to take over and excel in his role as Unit Coordinator and deliver impactful results.

What’s your favorite place of all the places you’ve travelled?

The Island of Mozambique: Visiting the island felt like stepping back in time. Unlike many tourist spots that have lost their authenticity, this hidden gem remains untouched and full of character, to the point where I hesitated whether to share this well-kept secret with you!
