Lucy serves as DT Global UK’s Director of Frameworks and Business Development. Lucy has been a manager in this team for ten years. She has overall responsibility for line managing the Frameworks team on a day-to-day basis and overseeing all of the Frameworks that DT Global UK is working on in conjunction with the Framework Director. Lucy has 15 years’ experience in International Development, where she has worked as a project manager on complex multi-component projects and programmes in a diverse range of technical areas in numerous countries and regions across Asia and throughout Africa.
Lucy directly manages several key Foreign and Commonwealth Development office (FCDO) Frameworks that DT Global UK leads, including the Global Evaluation Framework Agreement; International Multi-Disciplinary Programme Framework Agreement; and the Conflict, Stability and Security Fund. She also directs all tendering activities of the Frameworks team, leading decision making on targeting new frameworks and the selection of framework call downs to bid for.
Lucy’s leadership role includes developing and setting up reporting systems, communications, quality assurance, consortium agreements, subcontractor contracts, operations manuals, and best practice guides to facilitate the efficient project management of DT Global’s more than 15+ current framework agreements and for the 300+ call downs delivered by the team in the last five years. Day-to-day management involves liaising with client and consortiums, responding to RFPs, identifying experts, producing financial proposals and budgets, negotiating fee rates, and providing quality assurance of deliverables.
Do you volunteer anywhere?
Yes I support a charity called Via Ninos, set up by a friend of mine after travelling in Ecuador. We raise funds to support street children in Ecuador and work through in-country partnerships to provide education and social support.
