Responsibilities

The Role

DT Global Asia Pacific Pty Ltd, as the managing contractor for the Australia-Pacific Partnerships Platform, is seeking a reputable audit firm to conduct an independent financial audit of the program. This audit is a critical component of the program’s risk management and governance framework, aimed at strengthening internal controls, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities for operational improvement.
The audit will assess the adequacy of financial management procedures and contractual obligations under the Head Contract with DFAT. It must be conducted with independence, objectivity, and in accordance with international financial reporting standards.

Key Objectives:

  • Evaluate compliance with performance and financial standards under the DFAT agreement.
  • Identify risks, potential fraud, or irregularities through audit procedures aligned with accepted auditing standards.
  • Provide assurance on the integrity of financial operations and reporting.

Scope:

  • Review of financial and operational practices, governance, invoicing, and reporting processes.
  • Examination of financial records from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2025, including the program’s bank account and transactions.
  • The audit will be conducted remotely, with DT Global providing all necessary documentation.

Submission Requirements:

Firm must meet the following eligibility criteria:

  • Be registered in their country of operation.
  • Be financially solvent and legally capable of entering into contracts.
  • Be current with tax and social charge obligations.
  • Have no recent convictions or indictments for corruption or misconduct.
  • Not be listed on international sanctions or exclusion lists, including those maintained by DFAT, the UN Security Council, the World Bank, or other development donors.
  • Firms from any country may apply, except those prohibited by legislation or international agreements involving Palau, Samoa, Nauru, Kiribati, Tuvalu, FSM, Cook Islands, and RMI. DT Global reserves the right to request evidence of eligibility and will conduct due diligence prior to contracting.
