Technical areas of expertise: project management, change management, USG acquisition and assistance, technology for development, adult learning, public opinion surveys, political party strengthening, marketing communication.


Dicky Dooradi has more than 20 years of experience as a development professional. Dicky started his career implementing programs in the field in various capacity. He served as DCOP, COP, Director of Operations, and completed several consultancies and assignments in Indonesia, Timor-Leste, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Thailand, Afghanistan, Colombia, Tunisia, and South-Sudan. Dicky has a wealth of experience managing projects funded by a broad range of donors and client, including USAID, DFID, DFAT, Danida, the Swiss government, and AEC.

Dicky has a strong track record for building innovative tools and systems such as an SMS-based reporting system, online operations and accounting system and various open-sourced data toolkits. Currently he coordinates DT Global’s US operations team, working with the team to support effective implementation of our projects around the world.

Dicky lives in Potomac with his wife, Angel, and their kids Chris and Sofia.


What’s the coolest thing about your job?

Working with some of the most amazing professionals I have met here at DT Global and I feel that my work—albeit small—contributes to the betterment of our beneficiaries around the world!

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

To always try to make things better with systems we have, if we spend less time on administrative activities we will have more time on delivering stellar implementation of our projects
