Adele is the Associate Director of People at DT Global UK and has had 32 years of technical experience gained through working within the private, public, and not-for-profit sectors. Adele oversees a range of strategic and operational matters. As an experienced Human Resources professional across multiple sectors, Adele has had extensive experience overseeing strategic and operational matters at differing levels and is always looking for ways to add value and make improvements in working culture. Adele’s technical experience covers strategic direction and road mapping, operational management, recruitment and retention, learning and development, performance management, pay and reward, employee wellbeing and engagement, organisational design and development, employee relations, change management, restructuring, and data analytics.
Adele was the fastest promoted management trainee in her company at the beginning of her career, as well as being chosen to attend the Oxford Summer School as a delegate and a few years later as a group leader, when her group won third place in a marketing and presentation assignment. She has also been highly commended for her people work in retail by her then Managing Director, and more recently for her people initiatives at IMC at the ACE awards in 2019. She has also achieved Chartered status from the Institute of Personnel and Development (MCIPD) in 2018.
What is the one thing in this world you are most proud of?
My two sons, they have grown into fine young gentlemen. I am so proud of them and what they have achieved so far in life and how respectful and kind they are to others.
What’s the one piece of advice you would give others about life?
Don’t worry about setbacks as life isn’t perfect and these situations make your experiences richer and you become a stronger individual from them.
