PNG Ports Corporation Limited (PNGPCL) plays a crucial role in Papua New Guinea’s transportation sector and serves as the nation’s gateway to the world as the primary national port facilities provider. PNGPCL manages 15 of the 23 declared ports in Papua New Guinea.
The Australian Government, through the PNG-Australia Transport Sector Support Program, Phase 3 (TSSP3) implemented by DT Global, is supporting PNGPCL to engage a Consultant to undertake an assessment of the commercial position and socio-economic contribution of the ports managed by PNGPCL.
The Consultant will conduct an assessment of the current commercial position of each port, estimate the direct, indirect and induced socio-economic contribution, and determine the overall economic value of each port.
On behalf of PNGPCL, TSSP3 is calling for proposals from suitably qualified and experienced consulting firms to conduct the evaluation. This tender is open to companies that meet the criteria detailed in the tender documentation.
The deadline for tender submission is 2:00 pm (Port Moresby time) on 10 February 2025. TSSP will not accept submissions received after the deadline.
