Since Fiji’s COP23 presidency, the country has taken several steps to advance both climate change adaptation and mitigation priorities and has emerged as a regional leader in developing innovative responses to climate change in the Pacific. This panel will give an opportunity to the Fiji delegation and other panelists to share experiences and lessons learned from Fiji’s ongoing climate change adaptation and mitigation initiatives and the country’s vision for climate change action into the future, including its long-term net zero strategy and priorities for regional coordination across the Pacific.
