DT Global Commits to Reducing Its Carbon Footprint

DT Global is committed to addressing climate change impacts. As part of this commitment, we’re a proud signatory to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi), a collaboration between the CDP, the United Nations Global Compact, and World Resources Fund for Nature that is dedicated to science-based target setting to help companies transition to lower carbon outputs. We are joining a growing cadre of leading companies that are setting emissions reduction targets in line with what climate science says is necessary to reduce emissions and meet the Paris Agreement goals.

Over the next 24 months, DT Global’s Climate Change and Sustainability team will develop science-based targets to reduce our carbon footprint, aligned with the SBTi criteria. These greenhouse gas emissions reduction targets will be in line with the level of decarbonization required to meet the goals of the Paris Agreement: to limit global warming to well-below 2°C above pre-industrial levels and pursue efforts to limit warming to 1.5°C.

"We recognize the crucial role that the business community can play in minimizing the risk climate change poses to the future of our planet,” says Torge Gerlach, DT Global’s CEO. “At DT Global, we’re committed to doing our part to limit emissions and protect the earth for generations to come.”
