About

Mel Dunn is the Chief Strategy Officer at DT Global operating out of the IMC Worldwide: A DT Global Company office in the United Kingdom. Mel manages a Strategy Execution Team, responsible for overseeing the execution of DT Global’s strategy, key priorities, and strategic initiatives—in collaboration with DT Global's senior leadership. These initiatives and efforts aim to deliver better development outcomes and prioritize value creation for our people, partners, clients, and stakeholders.

Mel has more than 20 years’ experience in the development assistance and foreign aid sectors. Mel's experience includes facility leadership/oversight, technical assistance and project management, program design and evaluation, teaching and curriculum development in Australia and overseas. Mel Dunn's interests include innovation and entrepreneurship, and the integration of theory and practice to address complex social challenges. Mel maintains a focus on gender, and specifically the role of men in the pursuit of equality.

Mel is an Adjunct Associate Professor (Industry) in the UTS Business School. He is also an Adjunct Associate Professor in the School of Political Science and International Studies at The University of Queensland. He holds a MicroMasters® in Corporate Innovation, a Master of Social Change and Development, the Graduate Certificate in Gender Mainstreaming Policy and Analysis, and a Bachelor of Teaching (Further Education & Training). Mel is also a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
